About this unit
A two-way wheel spanner with sockets at both ends, giving two nut sizes in one tool and eliminating the socket that goes missing from a vehicle kit. Torque capability is to DIN 899, which is the figure to check against the wheel nut torque your fleet specifies, because a spanner rated below it will deform before the nut moves. It is made from carbon steel or chrome vanadium steel depending on the grade ordered, fully hardened with the sockets hardened, and finished in chrome plate, zinc plate or black. Chrome resists corrosion in a damp vehicle locker; black finish is the economical choice for workshop use.
