OEM and Private Label Machinery Manufacturing in China

We are an OEM machinery manufacturer in China. Alongside machines sold under our own brand, we build industrial equipment to a buyer's specification and supply it under the buyer's brand. That is private label manufacturing: the machine is ours to build and yours to sell. It suits distributors selling under their own name, importers building a product line, and contractors standardising a fleet.

What we change on an OEM order

An OEM order is not a sticker on a standard machine. The things that can be built to your requirement are:

  • Your brand on the machine – nameplate, decals, paint scheme and control-panel markings carrying your name rather than ours.
  • Specification – output per hour or per shift, working dimensions, drive arrangement, degree of automation, and the materials in contact with the product.
  • Electrical supply – voltage, phase and frequency built for the destination, with the plug standard and panel language to match.
  • Colour and finish – to your scheme or to a colour reference you supply.
  • Documentation – manuals, parts lists and plates issued in your name and in the language the destination requires.
  • Packing – cartons, crates and markings printed to your specification.

Minimum order, lead time and container quantities

These are quoted against the order rather than published, because all three move with what is being built. A branded nameplate on an existing model and a machine redesigned around a new output are different jobs with different minimums and different lead times, and a figure that covers both would be true of neither.

Tell us the machine, the quantity and the degree of change you need and the quotation states the minimum order, the factory lead time and how many units load into a container, for that order.

How an OEM order runs

  1. Specification. You send the machine, the output and the destination. We confirm what is standard, what changes, and what each change affects.
  2. Quotation. Priced against the quantity and the delivery programme, FOB, CIF or CFR to your port, with the minimum order and lead time stated for that build.
  3. Branding approval. Nameplate, decal and packing artwork are confirmed in writing before anything is produced.
  4. Manufacture and inspection. Built to the agreed specification and the destination's electrical supply.
  5. Shipping. Packed for sea freight with the export documentation the destination requires, issued in your name where the contract calls for it.

Distributors and repeat supply

Where a distributor is buying the same machines repeatedly, pricing is set against the quantity and the delivery programme rather than taken from a page, and the specification is recorded so each order is built the same way as the last. Territory and exclusivity are matters for the supply agreement – raise them in the enquiry and they are dealt with as part of it.

Spare parts, installation support and operator training can be written into the supply contract on an OEM order in the same way as on any other.

Starting an OEM enquiry

Send the machine or machines you want built, the quantity, the destination country and the electrical supply, and say what has to carry your brand. If you are working to a drawing or a specification sheet of your own, attach it – a great deal of what we build is made to a buyer's figures.

Questions buyers ask

Will the machines carry my brand and not yours?

Yes. Nameplate, decals, paint scheme, control-panel markings and the documentation can all be issued in your name. Artwork is confirmed in writing before manufacture begins.

What is the minimum order for an OEM build?

It is quoted against the order. A branded nameplate on a standard model and a machine redesigned around a different output carry very different minimums, so a single published figure would mislead on one or the other. Tell us the machine and the change you need and the quotation states it.

How long does an OEM order take to produce?

The lead time is stated in the quotation for that build, because it moves with the degree of change, the quantity and the delivery programme.

Can you build to my drawing rather than modify a catalogue machine?

Yes. Send the drawing or specification sheet with the enquiry and we will tell you what can be built as drawn, what we would change and why.

Can the machine be built for my country's electrical supply?

Yes, and it normally is. Voltage, phase and frequency are set before manufacture rather than adapted afterwards, along with the plug standard and the language on the control panel.

Do you supply spare parts and operator training on an OEM order?

Both can be included in the supply contract. What is covered, for how long and at whose cost is agreed with the order rather than offered as a standing term.

Can I have exclusivity for my country?

That is settled in the supply agreement, not on a web page. Say which country or region you are asking about and roughly what volume you expect to move, and it is discussed alongside pricing.

Which shipping terms do you quote on?

FOB, CIF and CFR, quoted to your port. Which of the three suits you depends on whether you are arranging freight and marine insurance yourself or want them in our price.
