Solar Equipment Manufacturers and Exporters in China
This division holds 12 solar products across 5 ranges – street lighting, panels, batteries, pumping and small power plants – manufactured in China under our own brand and exported worldwide. Solar equipment is bought against a site rather than a catalogue: the sunlight the location actually receives, the load it must carry and the hours it must carry it through darkness are what size a system, and a product list cannot answer those for you.
What makes a solar system work?
Three things in balance. The panel collects energy during useful sunlight hours. The battery stores enough to carry the load through the night and through cloudy days. The load determines how much of both you need. Undersize the battery and the lights fail before dawn in the first bad week; undersize the panel and the battery never fully recovers. Both failures look like equipment faults and are specification errors.
Solar ranges in this division
| Range | Equipment | Applications |
|---|---|---|
| Solar Lights | Solar LED street lights, adjustable wattage units, IP65 rated outdoor lights | Street and area lighting where no mains supply exists or cabling is impractical |
| Solar Panel | Polycrystalline and monocrystalline panels including 144-cell and 36-cell formats | Generation for lighting, pumping and small power installations |
| Solar Batteries | Solar storage batteries | Night and low-light storage for any off-grid installation |
| Solar Water Pump | Solar powered water pumps | Irrigation, livestock and village water supply away from mains |
| Solar Power Plants | Small solar power plant systems | Site or building power where grid supply is absent or unreliable |
How to specify a solar installation
Monocrystalline or polycrystalline panels?
Monocrystalline produces more power per square metre and costs more; polycrystalline costs less and needs more area for the same output. Where roof or pole area is limited, mono earns its premium. Where land is available, poly is usually the better value. Neither is better in the abstract – the constraint decides.
What does a solar street light need to be told?
Lighting hours required, pole height and spacing, and the location. Lighting hours set the battery; location sets how much generation a panel actually achieves, which varies enormously by latitude and by season. A light specified for one country and installed in another frequently underperforms for that reason alone.
How should batteries be sized?
For the worst case rather than the average: the longest period of poor generation the site will see, not a typical day. Battery is the component that fails first and costs most to replace, and undersizing shortens its life further because deep repeated discharge is what wears it out.
Specifications and standards to compare
| Equipment | Key specifications to compare | Relevant standards |
|---|---|---|
| Solar Panel | Peak watt rating, cell type and count, efficiency, dimensions, tolerance | Specify required standard at enquiry |
| Solar Lights | Luminaire wattage, lumen output, battery capacity, autonomy hours, IP rating, pole height | Specify required standard at enquiry |
| Solar Batteries | Capacity, chemistry, cycle life at stated depth of discharge, operating temperature range | Specify required standard at enquiry |
| Solar Water Pump | Flow rate, head, panel wattage required, controller type | Specify required standard at enquiry |
Send the installation location, the daily load and the autonomy required. Without those three a solar quotation is a price for components rather than for a system that works.
Who buys from this division
| Buyer | What they typically need |
|---|---|
| Municipality or road authority | Street lights by pole spacing and autonomy, in tender quantities |
| Rural electrification programme | Panels, batteries and lighting sized to household or community load |
| Agricultural user | Solar pumping sized to flow and head rather than to panel wattage |
| Site or facility with unreliable grid | Small power plant with storage carrying critical load |
| Solar distributor | Panels and lights in container quantities at defined wattages |
| NGO or development project | Systems specified for maintainability with locally available replacement parts |
Maintenance and replacement
A solar installation has one consumable and one maintenance task. The consumable is the battery, which will be replaced several times over the life of the panels, so its availability and price locally matters more than its specification at purchase. The maintenance task is cleaning the panels: dust reduces output substantially and is the commonest reason a system that worked at commissioning underperforms a year later. Specify both into the project rather than treating the installation as finished at handover.
What is included and what is not
Supplied: panels, lights, batteries, pumps and system components to the specification given, packed for export with documentation. Not supplied: civil work, poles and foundations unless quoted, electrical installation, grid connection or local approvals. Where a system is being specified rather than a product bought, send the site location and load and it can be sized rather than guessed.
Questions buyers ask
Mono or poly panels?
Monocrystalline gives more watts per square metre and costs more. Polycrystalline costs less and needs more area for the same output. Where mounting area is the constraint, mono earns its premium; where land or roof space is plentiful, poly is usually better value. Neither is better in the abstract.
How long will a solar street light run at night?
That depends on the battery you specify and the generation the site achieves, which varies a great deal by latitude and season. Tell us the hours of lighting you need and where the light will stand, and the battery and panel can be sized to deliver it. A light specified for one country and installed in another often underperforms for exactly this reason.
Why does the battery fail before anything else?
Because it is the only component that wears with use rather than age alone. Every discharge cycle consumes a little of its life, and deep discharges consume more, so a system run to its limit daily wears its battery out far faster than one with margin. Sizing generously is cheaper than replacing often.
What do you need from me to size a system?
The location, the daily load and the autonomy required through poor weather. Those three size the panel and the battery between them. Without them, a quotation is a price for components rather than for an installation that works through a bad week.
Do panels need maintenance?
They need cleaning, and it matters more than people expect. Dust and bird fouling reduce output substantially, and a system that worked at commissioning and underperforms a year later is usually dirty rather than faulty. Build cleaning into the project plan, particularly in dry and dusty regions.
Can solar run a water pump reliably?
Yes, within what the sun delivers. Solar pumping suits irrigation, livestock and village supply where the demand can follow the daylight, and it works best with storage in a tank rather than in batteries, since storing water is far cheaper than storing electricity. Send flow rate and head rather than a panel wattage.
