Choosing a forklift
Power source is the first decision and it is decided by where the truck works, not by price. A battery truck is the only sensible choice inside a food or pharmaceutical store, where exhaust is not acceptable, and it is quieter on multi-shift indoor work – but it needs charging infrastructure and a reliable supply. Diesel suits yards, ports and rough standing. Gasoline sits between the two for intermittent indoor and outdoor use.
Load capacity is rated at a standard load centre. A load that is long, or carried further forward than the rating assumes, derates the truck, so the pallet matters as much as the weight. Lift height is set by your top beam, and mast choice follows from it along with any free-lift requirement for working inside a container.
What we supply
Diesel trucks at 1, 1.5, 2, 3, 4 and 5 tonnes, gasoline at 1 tonne, and battery trucks at 2 tonnes. Each page carries its power source, load capacity and, where recorded, lift height and power supply.
Fleet and container quantities
Forklifts are commonly bought several at a time, and they load efficiently, so quantity moves the price materially. Tell us how many and where they are going and the quotation states the minimum order and how many units load into a container for that model.
For battery machines the charging supply – voltage, phase, frequency – is fixed at order stage, because a charger built for the wrong mains is the commonest reason a truck stands idle on arrival. Terms FOB, CIF or CFR.

Questions buyers ask
Diesel, gasoline or battery?
Where the truck works decides it. Battery indoors, particularly around food, where exhaust is not acceptable. Diesel for yards, ports and rough standing. Gasoline for mixed intermittent use. Battery also needs charging infrastructure and a dependable supply.
What load capacities do you supply?
From 1 tonne to 5 tonnes. Diesel across the whole band, gasoline at 1 tonne and battery at 2 tonnes.
Will a 3 tonne truck lift any 3 tonne load?
Not necessarily. Capacity is rated at a standard load centre, and a long load or one carried further forward derates the truck. Tell us the pallet or load dimensions as well as the weight.
What do you need to know about my site before quoting a battery truck?
The mains available at the charging point, and how many shifts the truck will run. Those two decide the charger and whether one battery is enough or you need a spare on rotation.
How many forklifts fit in a container?
It depends on the model and mast. The quotation states the container quantity for the trucks you are ordering.
