About this unit
A mount and demount iron for tubeless tyres, made from an alloy steel chosen for the combination of hardness and toughness this job demands - a bar hard enough to resist bending but not so hard that it chips when it is levered against a bead. Tubeless tyres hold their seal at the bead against the rim, so the bead has to be worked over the flange without being nicked, and the profile of the iron is what makes that possible. It handles a range of tyre changing applications rather than being cut for one rim size. Tell us the wheel sizes your workshop handles most.
