Machinery for Kenya ships through Mombasa, the Kilindini container terminal, which also serves as the Northern Corridor gateway for Uganda, Rwanda, Burundi and eastern DRC. If your delivery address is inland, tell us at the quotation stage: the corridor leg is a material part of a CIF price and a lead time, and it is better priced than assumed.

Kenya runs a Pre-Export Verification of Conformity (PVoC) programme under the Kenya Bureau of Standards. Unlike several neighbouring schemes, it applies broadly rather than to a short list of goods, and verification happens in the country of export before shipment - so it is our paperwork to get right, not something you discover at the port. We prepare the test reports, drawings and declarations the appointed agent asks for. KEBS operates an exemption route for machinery and spare parts imported by manufacturers registered with it; if you hold that registration, say so and we will quote on that basis.

Public tenders run through the Public Procurement Regulatory Authority. Food processing lines, construction plant and workshop equipment are the divisions we most often build to a Kenyan schedule, and we will quote line by line against one.
