Weights decide what you can legally run

Kerb mass is the empty vehicle, carry mass is what may be taken on board, and gross vehicle weight is the ceiling the two must add up within. Concrete is heavy, so a drum rated at nine cubic metres does not mean nine cubic metres may be carried everywhere: axle load rules in the country of operation, along with any weight restriction on the haul route, can cap the load below drum volume.
