About this unit
A lobe pump moves product by trapping it between two rotating lobes rather than by throwing it outward, so it handles viscous and delicate materials without shearing them - the reason it is chosen over a centrifugal pump for creams, pastes and anything with particles that must stay intact. The heat jacket is what makes this version specific: it holds the pump body warm so a product that thickens or crystallises as it cools, such as chocolate, fat or honey, stays fluid inside the pump instead of setting in it between runs.
