About this unit
Built for circulation duty with a double mechanical seal, which is a different job from product transfer. A circulation pump runs continuously around a loop - a cleaning circuit, a temperature control loop, a recirculating process line - rather than moving a batch from one vessel to another, and continuous running is what wears a single seal out. The second seal, with a barrier fluid between the two, keeps the circulating medium off the shaft and gives a far longer service interval on a pump that never stops. Specify the medium, its temperature and whether the loop runs product or cleaning solution.
