About this unit
A cut-down tactical shell with no brow lip and no ear coverage at all, which is the entire point of the pattern. Clearing the ears leaves room for communications headsets and lets a rifle stock come up to the shoulder without the helmet fouling it; losing the lip opens vision upward. Less shell means less weight, and less weight is what makes a full shift bearable on the neck, which is why tactical police and special forces units choose this shape. What it surrenders is coverage at the sides of the head and the base of the skull, left to other equipment. Rails, front mounts and counterweights are fitted to order; state the mount pattern and how much you intend to hang on it.
