This fire retardant anti impact anti riot armour is a full body riot suit for units that may face petrol bombs and other incendiary attacks as well as thrown stones. Every outer surface is made with fire retardant material, and polycarbonate panels absorb blows to the limbs. We manufacture it in China for security, police and army buyers.
Built for fire as well as impact
Many riot suits concentrate on blunt force alone, but when a crowd throws burning objects, the outer fabric and straps matter just as much as the protective plates. On this suit the whole exterior is fire retardant, so a splash of burning fuel is less likely to catch and spread across the wearer.
Impact protection covers the chest, back, shoulders, forearms, arms, neck, groin, buttocks, abdomen and legs. The front chest carries a rigid inner panel for limited resistance to blades. The suit is made of multiple parts, from a neck guard and vest down to shin, knee and foot guards, with glove covers for the hands.

- Protect area of 1.08m2, with ≥0.1 for the back, ≥0.18 for the arms and ≥0.30 for the legs
- Velcro above 7.2N/cm2, buckles above 500N and joints above 2000N
- A dagger at 2000N static load for one minute does not pierce the chest, back or groin (≥ 20J)
- A 7.5kg steel ball dropped from 163cm on the chest and arms leaves no flaw (≥ 20J)
Plates for this class are typically polycarbonate or high-density polyethylene over impact foam. Flame test results depend on the batch, so we send the test papers with your quote rather than quote a figure we have not seen.
