Privacy Policy
This privacy policy explains what information Machines & Equipments collects when you use machinesequipments.com, why we collect it, who we share it with and how you can reach us about it. It covers email and WhatsApp enquiries, the on-site product assistant, and our server logs.
What this privacy policy covers
This policy applies to the website and to the messages you send us about our machinery and equipment. It does not cover other websites you reach from our pages. We have written it in plain terms so that a buyer, a distributor or a tender team can read it in a few minutes.
Information you send us
When you email sales@machinesequipments.com or message us on WhatsApp, we receive only what you choose to share. That is usually your name, company, contact details, the products you want and your destination country or port.
We use these details to answer your enquiry, prepare quotations and export documents, and fulfil your order. We do not use them for anything unrelated to your enquiry.
Product assistant (chat)
The product assistant on our site helps you find items in our catalogue. Messages you type into it are sent to our server and then processed by a third-party AI model provider, Google Gemini, to produce an answer.
Please do not enter personal, financial or confidential details in the chat. If your question needs those details, send it by email or WhatsApp instead.
Server logs and cookies
Like most websites, our web server keeps standard technical logs. These record your IP address, browser type, the pages you request and the time of each request. We use them to keep the site secure and running reliably.
The site does not use advertising or tracking cookies.
Sharing your information
We do not sell your information. We share it only when we need to, for example:
- with service providers that help us run the website
- with freight forwarders and customs brokers who move your order
- where the law requires us to disclose it
Your choices
You can ask us at any time to access, correct or delete the information you have sent us. Email sales@machinesequipments.com with your request and the address or number you used to contact us, so we can find your messages.
You can also contact the export team through the channels listed there, or read more about Machines & Equipments and how we work.
Changes to this privacy policy
If we change how we handle information, we will update this page. The version shown here is the one that applies to your use of the site.
