Shipping & Export
Every export order — a single machine or a tender-quantity bulk shipment — follows the same process, from our factory in China to your port or site. This page sets out exactly how it works: the Incoterms we quote against, the documents you'll receive, typical transit times by region, and how payment is structured, so you can plan your import (or your tender delivery date) with confidence.

Sea freight vs. air freight
Most industrial machinery moves by sea freight — a full container load (FCL) for bulk or tender-quantity orders, or a consolidated part-load (LCL) for a single machine. Air freight is available for urgent spare parts or smaller, time-critical items, at a higher cost per kilogram. The right method depends on your cargo's size, weight and urgency — we confirm this with you at quote stage rather than defaulting to one option.
Incoterms — who's responsible for what
We quote against whichever Incoterm works best for your import process. Here's what each one means in practice — confirm which one applies to your quote when you enquire.
| Incoterm | You arrange | We arrange | Risk transfers at |
|---|---|---|---|
| EXW — Ex Works | Main freight, export customs clearance, cargo insurance | Export packaging, ready for collection at our factory | Our factory gate |
| FOB — Free On Board | Main sea freight, cargo insurance | Export customs clearance, delivery to port, loading onto vessel | Once loaded onto the vessel at the port of loading |
| CFR — Cost & Freight | Cargo insurance | Export customs, main sea freight to your destination port | Once loaded onto the vessel (though freight is prepaid by us) |
| CIF — Cost, Insurance & Freight | Import customs clearance and duties at destination | Export customs, main sea freight, marine insurance | Once loaded onto the vessel (insurance is prepaid by us) |
Export documents you'll receive

Country-specific shipping information
For the main port, currency and government tender portal that applies to your country specifically, see our Countries We Serve directory.
Browse countries we export toPayment terms
Payment terms are confirmed per order and generally follow standard export practice — an advance deposit with the balance due before shipment for standard orders, or a letter of credit (L/C) for larger and tender-quantity orders. Share your preferred terms when you enquire and we'll confirm what works for your order size and destination.
Shipping questions
Shipping & export — frequently asked
Both — a full container load (FCL) for bulk or tender-quantity orders, and less-than-container-load (LCL) consolidation for smaller single-machine shipments. We confirm the right option once we know your cargo volume.
We don't default to one — EXW, FOB and CIF are all available. Tell us which works for your import process and we'll quote accordingly; most first-time buyers find FOB or CIF simplest, since we handle export customs and, for CIF, main freight and insurance too.
Yes — for tender and bulk institutional orders, share the award's required delivery date when you enquire and we'll confirm a production and shipping schedule built around it, along with the compliance documentation your tender needs.
Yes — a Certificate of Origin is issued as standard with export shipments, alongside the commercial invoice, packing list and transport document (Bill of Lading or Air Waybill).
Cargo is shipped to the nearest regional transit port and moved on by road or rail under your forwarder's arrangement. See your country's page under Countries We Serve for the specific transit port and route typically used.
Machinery is crated or palletized for export handling and sea-freight conditions, with components secured and labelled; the specific packaging is confirmed against the machine's size and weight at order stage.
