How the industrial centrifugal sifter machine works

Product comes in through a feed screw and meets paddles inside a sieve drum. The paddles spin the powder out, so fine bits pass the mesh while the rest moves to a second outlet. Designs of this kind are typically motor driven, continuous operation, with a rotating centrifugal sieve drum and a perforated steel/mesh sieve cylinder.

Why mills use a centrifugal sifter

Compared with a flat or vibro sieve, a centrifugal unit is closed, compact and quiet. It suits mills that want to check flour just before packing, remove bits of string or bran, and break soft lumps without a large footprint. Because the model is portable, it can also move between lines in a small plant.
