How the cleaner works
Grain goes into a feed hopper, where a feed roller spreads it and a control gate sets the flow. Before it reaches the top screen, a first air pass sucks off chaff, straw and dust. The grain then crosses two sieve layers that sort it by width and thickness, while rubber balls under the screens keep the holes clear. A last air pass lifts any light bits left, and clean grain and waste leave by separate chutes.
