About this unit
A 320 horsepower machine in the elevated sprocket, high drive configuration. Raising the final drive above the track frame takes the sprocket and the drivetrain out of the mud, rock and debris that a ground-level sprocket runs through all day, and it separates the drive components from the shock loading the track takes. On abrasive or rocky ground that shows up directly in undercarriage life and in how often the machine is in the workshop rather than working. The trade is a higher machine and more initial cost than a standard oval track arrangement. Specify the ground you work on; where it is soft and clean the standard configuration is the cheaper answer.
