Army Multi Utility Over Vests
Army Multi Utility Over Vests are load-carrying carriers worn over a base ballistic vest, with pockets for front, back and side plates and a rear drag handle. We make them in China as part of our army equipment range and ship single units, bulk lots and tender quantities to importers, contractors and government buyers.
What the Army Multi Utility Over Vests add to a kit
A plain ballistic vest protects the torso but carries very little. This ballistic overvest sits on top of it and turns it into a working rig. The feature list from the maker covers the points most units ask about:
- Ergonomic cut that is easy to put on and wear
- Flexible panels that move with the body
- Provision for front, back and side plates
- Optional detachable collar, groin and upper arm protection
- Rear drag handle so a team member can pull a casualty to cover
The add-on guards let one carrier serve different roles. A patrol may run it light, while a checkpoint team can fit the collar and groin pieces for more cover.
Build and fit: what is typical
The specification table below lists values marked as typical for this type of vest. They are not yet confirmed for this model, so we check them with you before production. Carriers like this usually use a heavy-duty nylon shell with MOLLE/PALS webbing for pouches, over adjustable shoulder straps. The extra load space is normally used for magazines, radios and field pouches.
Protection comes from the plates and the base vest, not from the carrier. If your tender states an NIJ level, you can read how those levels are defined in the NIJ body armor standards, and we will confirm which plates and papers we can supply.
Ordering and export documents
Buyers usually ask us for three things first: the size range, the colour or camouflage, and which optional guards to include. We recommend sending the tender clause with those details, plus the quantity and delivery date. Sibling options include the military over vests and the army floatation over vests for work near water.
Each shipment leaves with a commercial invoice, packing list, certificate of origin and bill of lading, packed in seaworthy export crating. We ship to Nigeria, Kenya, Ghana and other markets, and you can see the full army equipment range for matching kit.
