About this unit
A screw capper tightens a threaded closure to a set torque, and torque is the only thing a capping machine is really judged on. Too little and the pack leaks in transit or fails a seal test; too much and the closure cracks or the liner distorts, which also leaks. This is the high speed automatic version, intended to sit behind a filler running at line rate rather than to be fed by hand. Caps are delivered from a sorting bowl to the heads, and the heads apply a controlled torque rather than simply spinning the cap down. Cap style, thread form and container neck finish all affect the change parts, so send a sample cap and bottle with the enquiry.
