About this unit
A double-fly tent of 10 by 13.5 feet overall, giving a 10 by 10 foot room with a 10 by 3.5 foot veranda in front. The two layers do different jobs. The outer fly is PVC fabric at 630 gsm, fully waterproof and UV treated, and takes the weather; the inner fly is olive green 100 per cent cotton canvas at 400 gsm, water repellent and rot proofed, and it is what makes the inside habitable, because an air gap between two layers cuts radiant heat in a way a single skin cannot. The ground sheet is 390 gsm PVC and the frame is CRC pipe. The veranda gives shaded space outside the sleeping area.
