How the cup and tray sealing cycle works
The operator places the filled container in the holder, and the machine carries it inside, where a heated die cuts the lid from the film roll and seals it onto the rim. The sealed cup then comes out, while the film advances automatically for the next cycle. The seal layer is polyethylene, and the heater works at up to about 300 degrees, so the lid bonds to plastic cups without glue.
