Ballistic Army Combat Helmet
The Ballistic Army Combat Helmet is a protective head shell for soldiers on patrol, on guard and in training, made to stop fragments and handgun rounds. We build it in China for export and quote each order on EXW, FOB, CFR or CIF terms, for single units, bulk lots or government tenders.
Shell, liner and fit
This model belongs to our Army Ballistic Helmets line. A helmet like this is judged on three parts. The shell stops the threat, the liner spreads the blow, and the strap keeps the helmet in place when the wearer runs or drops.
- Shell: usually an aramid (Kevlar-type) composite or a high-density polyethylene shell. Aramid is well proven, while polyethylene can be lighter for the same cover.
- Liner: a padded suspension liner that sits between shell and head for comfort and shock spread.
- Strap: a four-point adjustable chin strap that holds the helmet steady.
These values are typical for the type and are marked as such in the table below. We confirm the exact build with you.
Protection level of the Ballistic Army Combat Helmet
Helmets of this kind are often offered at an NIJ IIIA-equivalent level against fragments and handgun rounds, but the level depends on the model and the shell. We do not state a level until it is confirmed for your order. The NIJ body armor standards from the US Department of Justice are the most common reference, so we recommend sending the exact level your tender names.
What we confirm before production
- The protection level and any test report the tender asks for
- Shell material, weight target and size split across the order
- Colour or camouflage cover, and any rail or mount needs
- Packing per carton for your stores
