Army Telescopic Manipulator
The Army Telescopic Manipulator gives bomb disposal technicians and EOD/IEDD operators up to 3m of stand-off from a suspect device. The claw rotates a full 360 degrees and closes with precision, so the user can grip, move or place items from a distance. We make it in China and supply it with a rugged storage case.
What this manipulator can do
This tool does more than pick things up. It can deliver EOD tools such as X-ray plates and disruptors to the device, and it can clear obstacles out of the way. It also reaches places a robot may not get to, like a narrow gap, a stairwell or the inside of a vehicle.

Build and handling
Tools of this type are usually made from light aluminium sections with a mechanical gripper. The wheel base takes the weight on flat ground, and it comes off when the user needs to carry the pole by the strap. That mix keeps the kit usable by one person over rough ground.
