Army General Service Kit
The Army General Service Kit, often called the GS Kit, is a two-line rigging kit for EOD and IEDD teams. It packs over 100 parts of more than 30 types, so one case covers remote access, pulling, lifting and anchoring tasks. We make it in China for export and quote it per order and destination port.
What is in the Army General Service Kit
Rigging lets an operator move or open a suspect item from a safe distance, using lines, pulleys and anchors instead of hands. This kit is built around two lines, which allows two separate pulls or a pull and a hold at the same time.
- Two colour-coded, high-strength, low-stretch lines with a Kevlar core
- High-strength, heat-treated hooks
- A telescopic pole that reaches 3 m (10 ft)
- A self-opening snatch block pulley for changing the line direction
- An adjustable double suction anchor for smooth surfaces such as glass or vehicle panels

The colour coding helps the operator track which line does what when both run through pulleys.
