Table Top Electro Mechanical Coder for Batch and Date Printing
A Table Top Electro Mechanical Coder prints batch numbers, dates and prices onto cartons, labels, pouches and foil with a contact stereo and quick-drying ink. This model is driven by a DC stepper motor, so it needs no air compressor. It weighs about 7 kg, or 3 kg for the head alone, and runs on a 230 Vac supply.
How the stepper-driven coder works
A grooved or flat stereo, made of rubber or nylon, carries the text you want to print. The stepper motor presses the stereo onto the product, then lifts it back to an ink cartridge or ink paste roller. You can fire it with the built-in timer, a sensor or a foot switch. Because it has no pneumatic parts, it can replace an electro-pneumatic coder on sites with no compressed air, and the head can be mounted on a packing machine.
