General Service Kit for EOD and IEDD Rigging
The General Service Kit, often called the GS Kit, is a complete two-line rigging kit for EOD and IEDD teams. It holds over 100 components across more than 30 types, so one case covers many remote access, pull and move tasks. We make it in China for government buyers and tender contractors.
What is inside the kit
Rigging kits let an operator move, open or lift an item from a safe distance using lines, pulleys and anchors. This kit brings those tools together in one set:
- Two colour-coded Kevlar core lines, high in strength and low in stretch, so each line is easy to tell apart
- Heat-treated hooks of high strength for a secure grip
- Telescopic pole that extends to 3 m (10 ft) for placing hooks at reach
- Self-opening snatch block pulley to change the line direction quickly
- Adjustable double suction anchor for smooth surfaces such as vehicle panels or tiles
The case and pouches are typically a mix of textile, canvas and hardware parts, set by the kit contents.
How the General Service Kit fits a team's tools
