Food Vacuum Packaging Machine
This Vacuum Packaging Machine is a 20" x 20" chamber sealer that draws air out of a pouch and then heat-seals it shut. It runs on a 220V supply, has a 440 x 420 x 75 mm chamber and a 20 m3/h vacuum pump, with nitrogen flushing as an option. Food plants use it to keep meat, fish, nuts and tea fresh for longer.
Why remove the air
Air makes food go stale, dry out or ferment, and in a freezer it leads to surface burn on exposed portions. By taking out the air and sealing the bag, a vacuum packaging machine slows oxidation and stops the pack from soaking up moisture. It also retains the natural aroma and protects fragile goods from breakage during transport.
Nitrogen flushing helps with soft or crumbly foods, since the chamber is refilled with inert gas after the vacuum stage and the bag does not crush the product.
