Semi Automatic Bottle Shrink Wrapping Machine
This Semi Automatic Bottle Shrink Wrapping Machine bundles groups of bottles in heat-shrink film at 10 to 15 packs per minute. It takes packs up to 600 mm x 400 mm x 350 mm (L x W x D) and works with PE, POF and PVC film. Power is 19 kW on a 380 V, 3 phase supply, with compressed air at 4-6 Kg/Cm2, Air Flow -0.5m3/minute.
How bottle shrink wrapping works
The operator places a group of bottles on the infeed. The film is wrapped around the group and sealed, then the pack travels on the conveyor through a heat tunnel. Hot air shrinks the film tight around the bottles, making a firm bundle that is easy to stack and ship.
Shrink bundles replace cartons for water, juice and soft drinks in many markets. They use less material, and buyers can see the product through the film.
Choosing the right film
The machine runs three common film types:
- PE (polyethylene): thick and strong, the usual choice for heavy bottle bundles
- POF (polyolefin): clear, glossy and good for retail packs
- PVC: low cost and quick to shrink, for lighter packs
