Army Telecscopic Manipulator
The Army Telecscopic Manipulator is a remote handling tool for EOD and IEDD work. It lets a bomb technician reach forward, grip and lift a suspect object while staying at a safer stand-off distance. A battery powered robotic head can pick up items from 10 g to 25kg, with the grip force set to suit the object. We make it in China for army and police units.
How the powered claw works
The electronic claw has an adjustable angle and a variable speed for grasping and letting go. That control matters when the object could be fragile or unstable. The maker states that the claw can lift an egg or a water bottle without breaking or bending it.
A curved claw fitting helps with round or smooth items, such as bottles, pipe bombs, small ammunition, gunny bags and briefcases. The claw is also built to break away, which protects the arm if the load snags.
