600D Polyester Tactical Bulletproof Vest with 2 Side Plates
This 600D polyester tactical bulletproof vest is a military style plate carrier with two side plate pockets and a quick release design. It takes the same light, low-frills approach as our other carriers, but adds side cover and a way to strip the vest off fast. We build it in China within our Army Equipment range for defence forces, importers and tender contractors.
What sets the 600D polyester tactical bulletproof vest apart
The key feature is quick release. A medic may need to get the vest off a wounded soldier in seconds, and a quick release lets that happen without cutting straps. The same feature helps if a wearer falls into water or gets caught in a vehicle.
The two side plates close the gap under the arms, which a front and back carrier leaves open. The front has rows of MOLLE/PALS webbing, and the top three rows carry loop material for patches or ID panels. Shoulder straps adjust, and elastic side straps keep a close fit while the wearer moves.
Fabric, fill and protection level
The 600D rating refers to the denier, or thread weight, of the polyester outer. It is a common choice for tactical gear because it resists abrasion and holds its shape. Behind it, vests of this type usually use aramid or UHMWPE ballistic fabric, and they can be supplied with ceramic or steel plates.
Protection is typically NIJ IIIA to IV equivalent, depending on the panels and plates chosen. That is a typical range for the class, not a tested rating for this model. The NIJ body armor standards explain how levels are defined, and we confirm what papers we can supply for your tender at enquiry.
