Agricultural Disc Harrow Tractor Mounted
The Agricultural Disc Harrow Tractor Mounted is a 14-disc tillage implement that cuts and mixes soil, stubble and weeds to prepare a field for sowing. It carries seven scalloped discs in front and seven plain discs behind on a sturdy channel frame, and it suits tractors from about 35 hp with Cat II linkage. We build it in China and export it to farms, dealers and tender buyers.
Build details that matter
The high carbon discs sit on a 32mm square bar, with C.I. (cast iron) spools keeping a 225mm gap between discs. Every other spool holds a bearing hub with two taper roller bearings, so the harrow runs on twelve bearings in all. The three-point linkage bridge strut is made from 65x12 flat bar, and the levelling crank uses a 28mm rod. Working depth is set by the tractor hydraulics.
Why the two disc types? Scalloped front discs bite into trash and wild grass, while the plain rear discs level and firm the soil behind them.
