Construction Machinery Manufacturers and Exporters in China
Construction plant is bought against a programme, not against a catalogue. This division holds 212 machines across 16 ranges – earthmoving, compaction, lifting, paving, drilling and municipal vehicles – manufactured in China under our own brand and exported worldwide. Each machine is listed with the figures a site engineer actually compares: engine power, operating weight, blade or bucket capacity, drive type and working width. Buyers here are contractors, plant hire fleets, mining operations and government departments sizing equipment against a contract rather than browsing a range.
What is construction machinery?
Construction machinery is the self-powered plant used to move, compact, lift and place material on a site: dozers, loaders, rollers, graders, cranes, pavers, drilling rigs and the specialist vehicles that support them. Machines are selected by the volume of work, the ground they will work on, and how they reach the site – not by horsepower alone, because operating weight is what converts engine power into usable traction.

How to select construction machinery
Which figure matters more, engine power or operating weight?
Operating weight, in most cases. Weight is what holds the machine to the ground and converts engine output into push or breakout force; a machine that cannot hold traction simply spins and the horsepower is wasted. Compare weight first within a power class, then look at blade or bucket capacity, and treat horsepower as the third figure rather than the headline.
How does the machine reach site?
Transport weight and width decide more purchases than performance does. A machine that needs a permit, an escort or a low loader your contractor does not own costs money every time it mobilises, and on a job with several short moves that cost can exceed the difference between two machines. Check the transport dimensions before the specification.
Mechanical, hydraulic or hydrostatic drive?
Mechanical drive through a torque converter is the cheapest and suits sustained straight work. Hydraulic gives smoother control. Hydrostatic gives infinitely variable speed and independent track control, so the machine counter-rotates and holds a precise blade speed through a cut – which is what finish grading needs and bulk pushing does not. Pay for it where surface finish is the measure.
What about the undercarriage?
On abrasive or rocky ground the undercarriage is the largest running cost on a tracked machine. An elevated sprocket arrangement lifts the final drive out of the debris and off the shock path, which shows in component life and workshop time. On soft, clean ground a standard oval track is the cheaper and equally sound answer.
Specifications and standards to compare
| Equipment | Key specifications to compare | Relevant standards |
|---|---|---|
| Bulldozer | Engine power, operating weight, blade capacity, drive type, track configuration | Specify required standard at enquiry |
| Road Roller | Operating weight range, drum width, drive type, vibration frequency and amplitude | CE marking where the destination requires it |
| Crane | Rated lifting capacity, boom length, carrier type, outrigger spread | Specify required standard at enquiry |
| Wheel Loader | Operating weight, bucket capacity, breakout force, tipping load | Specify required standard at enquiry |
| Multi-Function Asphalt Paver | Basic and maximum paving width, maximum thickness, hopper capacity, engine power | Specify required standard at enquiry |
| Forklift Truck | Rated load, lift height, fuel or battery type, mast configuration | Specify required standard at enquiry |
| All exported plant | Transport weight and width, ambient temperature range, fuel specification available locally | Specify emissions tier required at enquiry |
Confirm the emissions tier, the standard your tender names and the fuel quality available at the destination before a machine is built. Fuel specification in particular rules engine options in or out, and it cannot be changed after manufacture.
Specifying a site fleet rather than a machine
Where a contract is being equipped rather than a gap filled, the plant is scoped as a sequence of operations:
- Bulk earthworks – dozers sized to the push distance, with loaders and tippers taking over beyond roughly 100 metres where a dozer stops being economic.
- Formation and levelling – motor graders for road formation and haul road maintenance, which keeps every other machine on the site productive.
- Compaction – single drum rollers for fill and subgrade, tandem drum and pneumatic tyre rollers for asphalt density and final sealing.
- Surfacing – asphalt pavers sized to the carriageway width, with milling machines where existing surface is removed first.
- Lifting and placing – truck, mobile or crawler cranes by radius and load rather than by headline capacity, with concrete pump and mixer trucks for structures.
- Site support – forklifts, water sprinklers and fire fighting trucks, which tenders frequently require and fleets frequently forget.

Export shipping and mobilisation
Heavy plant is shipped by container where it will fit and as break bulk or roll-on roll-off where it will not, and the method affects both cost and lead time. Machines above container height are normally part-dismantled for shipment and reassembled at the destination, which has to be planned rather than discovered on arrival. Tell us the destination port at enquiry: port handling capability varies considerably, and a machine that cannot be discharged at the nearest port may be cheaper to land somewhere else and drive in. Documentation is released with the shipment to the requirements of the destination, and those requirements differ by market – some need a certificate of conformity issued before arrival, others inspect after landing.
Tender and procurement enquiries
Public tenders for plant are usually decided on compliance before price. Send the specification schedule rather than a summary, and it is quoted line by line against the items named in it, which is what an evaluation committee compares. State the emissions tier the tender requires, the delivery terms and the currency, and say whether award is on lowest price or technical score – that changes which configuration is worth quoting. Where a tender names a standard, say so and it will be quoted against that standard rather than against a general specification.
What is included and what is not
Supplied: the machine built to the fuel, emissions and electrical specification of the destination, packed or prepared for the agreed shipping method, with export documentation. Not supplied: site preparation, civil works, local registration and operating permits, which are the buyer's. Commissioning, operator training and guarantee terms are agreed in each supply contract and vary with fleet size; no aftercare is provided outside that contract. Spares policy should be agreed at order rather than after delivery, because availability at the destination is a larger factor in running cost than the purchase price difference between two machines.

Questions buyers ask
Does engine power or operating weight matter more on a dozer?
Operating weight, in most cases. Weight is what holds the machine to the ground and turns engine output into push and breakout force. A machine that cannot hold traction spins its tracks and the horsepower goes nowhere. Compare weight first within a power class, then blade or bucket capacity, and treat horsepower as the third figure rather than the headline.
What is the difference between hydraulic and hydrostatic drive?
Hydraulic drive runs through a torque converter and suits sustained straight pushing at lower cost. Hydrostatic gives infinitely variable ground speed with each track driven independently, so the machine can counter-rotate on the spot and hold a precise blade speed through a cut. That is what finish grading and slot dozing need; bulk pushing does not, and hydrostatic costs more to buy and maintain.
Why does an elevated sprocket cost more?
It lifts the final drive above the track frame, out of the mud, rock and debris a ground-level sprocket runs through all day, and separates the drive components from the shock loading the track takes. On abrasive or rocky ground that shows directly in undercarriage life and workshop time. On soft, clean ground a standard oval track is the cheaper and equally sound choice.
How do I know a machine can reach my site?
Check transport weight and width before the specification. A machine needing a permit, an escort or a low loader your contractor does not own costs money at every mobilisation, and on a job with several short moves that can exceed the price difference between two machines. Ask for transport dimensions at enquiry rather than after order.
Which roller does which job?
A single drum roller does the density work on fill and subgrade. A tandem drum roller works asphalt. A pneumatic tyre roller finishes: the tyres knead and seal the surface after the vibratory work is done. Specifying one roller for all three is the usual cause of a surface that passes density testing and still fails on finish.
What emissions tier should I order?
The tier your destination requires and your local fuel can actually support. This has to be settled before manufacture, because fuel quality rules engine options in or out and cannot be changed afterwards. A high-tier engine running on fuel it was not designed for will fail early and the warranty will not cover it. Send the fuel specification available locally.
Can heavy machines be shipped in containers?
Where they fit. Machines above container height are normally part-dismantled for shipment and reassembled at the destination, which needs planning rather than discovery on arrival. Larger plant goes as break bulk or roll-on roll-off. Port handling capability varies, and a machine that cannot be discharged at the nearest port is sometimes cheaper landed elsewhere and driven in.
Do you supply spares and service?
Spares policy is agreed at order rather than after delivery. Parts availability at the destination has a larger effect on running cost over a machine's life than the purchase price difference between two models, so it belongs in the original negotiation. Commissioning, operator training and guarantee terms are settled in the supply contract and vary with fleet size.
