Uzbekistan is one of only two doubly landlocked countries in the world. Our route note for it reads: Doubly landlocked — transit via Bandar Abbas, Iran or Aktau, Kazakhstan. Freight goes by sea or rail to one of those gateways, then crosses at least one more border by road or rail.
This makes the route the biggest cost and time factor. We fix it with you at quote stage, along with the Incoterm. We quote EXW, FOB, CFR or CIF, and the page on Incoterms, freight and export documents explains each one. Buyers who already use Kazakhstan transit often prefer the Aktau option.
What we check before we build
Buyers usually ask us to confirm:
- The model and spec, matched to your order or tender file.
- Voltage and frequency, so motors and pumps suit the local grid.
- Raw water quality for treatment units, so the filter stages fit your source.
- The transit point and the named place where our part of the job ends.
We do not publish prices. Each quote depends on quantity, spec, Incoterm and route, and your landed cost in Uzbekistani Som (UZS) terms also depends on duty, which your broker can confirm.
Packing for a long transit
A shipment to Uzbekistan may be lifted and moved many times on its way. So we crate or strap each machine to take crane lifts, rail yards and long truck runs. Loose parts go in marked boxes, and each box is on the packing list. If you want spare parts with the first order, tell us at quote stage so they ride in the same crate.
Documents and public tenders
Each shipment carries a commercial invoice, packing list, bill of lading and certificate of origin. Extra papers for a tender can be requested; our page on certifications and compliance documents explains the process.
