What buyers in Tajikistan ask us for

Most enquiries from Tajikistan, a CIS member, fall into three product groups:

How a machinery exporter to Tajikistan plans the route

Tajikistan has no coast. Our port listing for the country reads: Landlocked — transit via Bandar Abbas, Iran or via Pakistan. In practice, cargo goes by sea to one of those gateways and then moves on by road or rail to Dushanbe or your site.

Because the inland leg is long, we agree the route and the Incoterm with you at quote stage. We quote EXW, FOB, CFR or CIF, and our page on Incoterms, freight and export documents shows where cost and risk pass to you. For a landlocked market, most buyers take CFR or CIF to the gateway port and hire their own forwarder for the last leg.

What we check before we build

Buyers usually ask us to confirm these points first:

1. The model and spec, matched line by line to your order or tender file.
2. Voltage and frequency, so motors and pumps suit the local supply.
3. Engine and cooling needs for high ground, where thin air can cut output.
4. The transit port and the named place where our part of the job ends.

We do not publish prices. Each quote depends on quantity, spec, Incoterm and route, and your landed cost in Tajikistani Somoni (TJS) terms also depends on local duty, which we suggest you confirm with your broker.

Documents and public tenders

Each shipment comes with a commercial invoice, packing list, bill of lading and certificate of origin. If your tender asks for more, send us the list and we will say which papers we can supply. Our certifications and compliance documents page sets out how this works.
