Stages in the line

The plant is a set of machines that work one after the other. The exact list depends on the recipe and the pack, but a typical line has these steps:

1. Cleaning, destoning and lifting the nuts by elevator
2. Shelling, roasting and peeling
3. Soaking and fine grinding into a smooth paste
4. Pulping and filtering to take out coarse fibre
5. Homogenizing and degassing, so the drink is smooth and free of bubbles
6. UV, heat or autoclave steps to kill germs
7. Filling and sealing

Walnuts and almonds peel in different ways, so we confirm which nuts you plan to run before we set the layout.

Pack options and capacity

The listed pack options are ring-pull cans, Tetra Pak cartons, oral liquid bottles and PET bottles. Pack material and volume are set according to clients' requirements. The specification table below also gives typical rows for this kind of plant, such as "semi-automatic to fully automatic, PLC-controlled" automation and a 1-20 tonnes/hour, model-dependent capacity. Those are typical, not a promise for this model.
