How the plate former works

Mix from the 300L feed bin fills the cavities in a forming plate, which strokes 25-60 times per minute. Air and water then release each piece cleanly onto the belt, which helps keep soft poultry and fish shapes sharp. Products can be 6-40mm thick, from thin nuggets to thicker steaks.

The 600mm width gives room for many cavities per stroke, which is what lifts output. The unit is easy to use and suits a wide range of products and shapes.

Specifying a nuggets making machine

We ask buyers these questions before we quote:

• Which products and shapes will you run most often?
• What output per hour do you need in each shift?
• Is your site power 380V/50Hz three-phase, or 415V or 220V three-phase?

Contact parts are usually stainless steel (SS304) product contact parts, and automation is typically semi-automatic to fully automatic, line-integrated. Line rate varies with machine function and line rate, so we confirm it with your recipe.
