The manufacturer data lists four variants:

• 1200 mm width, 320 mm depth, 209 kW, 21500 kg
• 2000 mm width, 300 mm depth, 353 kW, 28500 kg
• 2000 mm width, 320 mm depth, 447 kW, 32500 kg (two versions)

All are rated at 2100 rpm, with 80% gradeability and a travel speed of about 0-4.5 or 0-5 km/h. The 1200 mm unit suits city streets, patch repair and narrow lanes, while the 2000 mm units cover a full lane in fewer passes on highways and airport runways.

How a cold planer earns its keep

Milling before an overlay removes cracked and rutted asphalt and brings the road back to level, so the new layer goes on at an even depth. The milled material can be reused as base, which saves on new stone, and on tracks the planer holds line and grade well on long, deep cuts.
