Why a wheel type paver

A rubber-tyred chassis can drive between nearby jobs under its own power, so it suits towns where work is spread across many short streets. It also leaves fewer marks on finished surfaces than steel tracks. Tracked pavers grip better on soft base layers, so we ask about ground conditions before we suggest one.

How the 4.5m Wheel Type Asphalt Pavers work on site

A 4.5 m working width covers a normal traffic lane in one pass, which cuts the number of cold joints on road jobs. The screed can be extended to narrow or widen the mat around kerbs and junctions. Typical features for this paver type, confirmed at quotation, include:

What we check before production

We confirm the engine, screed heating method, extension range and the language on the control panel. We also check the destination port and whether the unit needs seaworthy export crating or ships on a flat rack.
