Army Waterproof Tent
The Army Waterproof Tent is a field shelter made from coated polyester, nylon, Cordura or canvas, built to keep troops and stores dry in rain and on wet ground. We make it in China to your size, colour and fabric choice, and supply single units, bulk lots or tender quantities for export.
Fabric and coating options
This model is part of our Army Tents line, and the shell is the part that decides how well a tent copes with weather. On this model you can choose the fabric and the coat that goes on it:
- Fabric: polyester, nylon, Cordura or canvas, with the yarn count set to your order
- Waterproof coat: PU or PVC coating on the fabric
- Webbing: PP, polyester or nylon straps and tie-downs
- Fittings: EU standard or custom accessories
- Colour: any colour, including olive and desert shades
PU coats are lighter and fold down small, which suits troops who carry their shelter. PVC coats are heavier but take more abrasion, so many buyers pick them for base camps. Size is also custom, and we can add a unit logo to the carry bag.
Typical frame and capacity
Tents of this type usually pitch on a pole-and-fabric frame with quick-pitch or pop-up assembly. Poles are typically aluminium or fiberglass, and most models sleep between two and ten people. These are typical values, marked as such in the table below, and we confirm them against your drawing or tender.
