Machinery Exporter to Tanzania via Dar es Salaam
East Africa · Tanzanian Shilling (TZS) · Main port: Dar es Salaam · EAC / SADC
Machines & Equipments is a machinery exporter to Tanzania, shipping factory-direct from Shanghai, China to the port of Dar es Salaam. We supply farm machines, crop processing lines and building plant to importers, distributors and tender winners in East Africa. Each shipment carries the papers needed for customs clearance.
Equipment Tanzanian buyers order most
Tanzania belongs to both the EAC and SADC, and demand from the country centres on three ranges:
- Agricultural Machinery such as tractors, planters and irrigation kits
- Agro Processing Machines for milling maize and rice, hulling, and oil pressing near the farm
- Construction Machinery for roads, water works and housing
Distributors often mix these in one container, and we can plan the load around that.
Shipping as a machinery exporter to Tanzania
Sea freight from Shanghai to Dar es Salaam is the usual route. Single machines can travel as LCL part-loads, while tender lots and mixed dealer orders fill a 20ft or 40ft FCL container.
We quote EXW, FOB, CFR or CIF. Many Tanzanian buyers choose CIF Dar es Salaam, so they only have to arrange port clearance and the trip inland. Our guide to shipping, Incoterms and export documents explains each term.
Points we confirm before production
Before we start a build, we go through a short list with you:
- The model and spec, set against your order or tender sheet
- Voltage and frequency, so motors run on local mains or your generator
- Whether a processing machine needs a diesel or electric drive for your site
- The Incoterm and final place of delivery
Prices are quoted per order and are never listed on the site. Your landed cost in Tanzanian Shilling (TZS) terms also includes duty and port fees, which your clearing agent can confirm.
How we pack for the trip
We crate or strap each machine so it can take a crane lift at the port and a rough road after it. Loose parts go in marked boxes, and each box is listed on the packing list. If you want spare belts, blades or filters sent with the first order, tell us when you ask for a quote, so they can ride in the same box and you do not pay freight twice.
Documents and government tenders
Every order ships with a commercial invoice, packing list, bill of lading and certificate of origin. Datasheets and other papers can be added where your tender asks for them; see our note on certifications and compliance documents.
Public tenders are listed on NeST — National e-Procurement System of Tanzania. As a machinery exporter to Tanzania, we help tender bidders by checking the technical clause first, so the bid rests on a spec we can meet. We also ship to Kenya and other EAC markets.
