Sierra Leone lies in West Africa and is a member of ECOWAS / Mano River Union. Most of our enquiries come from road work, farms and homes with no grid power. They fall into three groups:

What a machinery exporter to Sierra Leone checks first

We check the key details before we build. A change after the ship leaves costs time and money. Buyers usually ask us to confirm these points:

1. The model and spec, matched line by line to the order or tender file.
2. Voltage and frequency, so that motors and inverters suit the local supply.
3. The Incoterm you want: EXW, FOB, CFR or CIF.
4. Freetown as the port of discharge, or an inland site your agent will reach by road.

Each order is priced on its own, based on quantity, spec, Incoterm and port. We do not publish price lists. Your landed cost in Sierra Leonean Leone (SLE) terms also depends on duties and inland transport, so we recommend you check those with a clearing agent in Freetown.

Shipping to Freetown

Most machinery moves by sea, either as a full container load or as a shared part-load for a single machine. Heavy plant that will not fit in a normal box can go on a flat rack. Tender supply through the NPPA eGP

Public buying in Sierra Leone runs through the National Public Procurement Authority (NPPA) eGP. If you are bidding on a contract listed there, or have won one, share the technical clause with us. We will confirm product fit and the documents we can provide before you submit, then plan production around your delivery date.
