What buyers in Rwanda need

Rwanda is an East Africa market and a member of the EAC / COMESA. Hilly farmland, fast-growing towns and a push for rural power shape demand. Distributors and tender winners mostly ask us for:

Planning the inland route

The road from the coast takes time and crosses a border. So we plan it with you from the first quote. Before production we confirm in writing:

1. The model, capacity and rating, matched to your order or tender.
2. Voltage, frequency and phase for motors, pumps and inverters.
3. Your Incoterm: EXW, FOB, CFR or CIF.
4. Dar es Salaam or Mombasa as the port of discharge, and the transit agent who will handle the road leg.

We publish no prices. Each quote reflects quantity, specification, Incoterm and port. Landed cost in Rwandan Franc (RWF) also depends on duties, transit fees and trucking, which your clearing agent can confirm.

Working with a machinery exporter to Rwanda

When you buy from the factory, no one in the middle adds a cut to your price. We recommend telling us the slope and access to your site, since steep, narrow tracks can limit machine size. Shipping and documents

Most orders go by sea in a full container load, or as a shared part-load for one machine. Each shipment carries a commercial invoice, packing list, bill of lading and certificate of origin, which your agent uses for transit and final clearance. A lot of our buyers bid on public work. We know the dates are tight, so we reply fast and keep our answers plain.
