Namibia is a dry Southern Africa market and a member of SADC. Strong sun, scarce water and long roads shape what buyers there ask for:

How we ship as a machinery exporter to Namibia

Walvis Bay is the country's deep-water port on the Atlantic coast, with road links to Windhoek and inland. A single unit often travels as a shared part-load (LCL), while bulk orders fill a full container (FCL). We confirm the method at quote stage, because size, weight and timing all change the best route.

Before production starts, we check these points with each buyer:

1. The exact model and output, matched to your order or tender file.
2. Voltage and frequency, so motors and inverters suit the local grid.
3. Packing that can stand dust, heat and a long road leg.
4. The Incoterm (EXW, FOB, CFR or CIF) and the named port.

Prices are quoted per order, based on quantity, spec, Incoterm and port. We do not publish price lists. Namibia uses the Namibian Dollar (NAD) — ZAR also legal tender — and your landed cost also depends on duties, so we suggest you confirm these with your clearing agent.

Documents and public tenders

Each shipment carries a commercial invoice, packing list, bill of lading and certificate of origin. Our guide to shipping, Incoterms and export documents shows who pays for each leg. Public tenders are run by the Central Procurement Board of Namibia (CPBN). If you plan to bid, share the technical clause with us first, and we will confirm fit and papers before the deadline.
