What buyers in Myanmar need most

Myanmar is a Southeast Asia market and a member of ASEAN, with a large farm sector and many rural areas off the grid. Our work there falls into three main groups:

• Agricultural machinery and equipment such as power tillers, rice threshers and water pumps. Paddy farms in the delta use them most.
• Relief blankets and tents for flood and storm response. Aid groups often need them packed in set kits.
• Solar system products such as panels, batteries and lights. They bring power to villages and clinics far from the grid.

Orders range from a few units for a local dealer to large lots for aid programmes.

How we ship as a machinery exporter to Myanmar

Most cargo goes by sea to Yangon, the country's main port. A single machine often travels as a shared part-load (LCL), while relief goods and bulk orders fill a full container (FCL). We agree the method with you at quote stage, based on size, weight and how soon the goods are needed.

Before production starts, buyers usually ask us to confirm these points:

1. The exact model, size or kit contents, matched to the order.
2. Voltage and frequency, so motors and chargers suit the local supply.
3. Packing and labels that suit wet-season storage and hand loading.
4. The Incoterm (EXW, FOB, CFR or CIF) and the named port.

Prices are quoted per order, based on quantity, spec, Incoterm and port. We do not publish price lists. Your landed cost in Myanmar Kyat (MMK) also depends on duties and local fees, so we advise you to check these with your customs broker.

Documents and tender supply

Each shipment carries a commercial invoice, packing list, bill of lading and certificate of origin. Our page on shipping, Incoterms and export documents sets out who pays for each leg. We could not confirm a stable official e-tender portal for Myanmar, so we do not link to one. If you hold a tender or donor bid, send us the technical clause, and we will check fit and papers before you submit.
