About this unit
Jacketed process vessel with mechanical agitation, for mixing, blending, holding or heating a food product in batch. The agitator is the component that has to match the duty: a slow anchor or scraper for viscous product that would burn against the wall, a faster turbine or propeller for thin liquid that needs turnover. Ports are arranged for ingredient addition, discharge and cleaning. Specify working volume, product viscosity, whether heating or cooling is needed, and the instrumentation required.
