About this unit
A jacketed tank that both heats and cools, which is what makes it the general-purpose process vessel rather than a storage one. The same tank serves as a mixing tank under heat, a disinfection vessel, an ageing tank, a fermenter or an agitation tank, because all of those are a controlled temperature plus time, and the jacket supplies the temperature in either direction. Buying a vessel that can only heat limits what the plant can make later. The size range runs from 600 to 15,000 litres, with inlet and outlet bores of 38 mm on the smaller tanks rising to 65 mm at the top of the range. Confirm the duty and the batch size.
