About this unit
Milk receiving tank, the first vessel in the dairy after collection. Its inlet is arranged to fill without splashing, which is not cosmetic - air whipped into raw milk damages the fat globules and shows up later in the product. Cleaning connections support the wash cycle the vessel needs after every intake. Specify the volume against your largest expected delivery, and state whether cooling, agitation or level instrumentation is required.
