Garage Equipment Manufacturers and Exporters in China
This division holds garage and workshop equipment – lifting, tyre care, washing, diagnostics, air conditioning, pollution testing and body repair – manufactured in China under our own brand and exported worldwide. A workshop is equipped bay by bay rather than item by item, so the equipment here is listed by the job it does and the vehicle class it handles, which is what decides whether a lift, an alignment machine or a wheel balancer fits the work you actually take in.
What equipment does a garage workshop need?
At minimum: a lift rated for the heaviest vehicle handled, tyre changing and wheel balancing, battery charging and starting, and washing. Beyond that the bays follow the business – alignment and body repair for accident work, diagnostics and air conditioning for modern vehicles, pollution testing where local regulation requires a certificate. Equipment is selected by vehicle class first, because a machine built for passenger cars will not take a commercial vehicle wheel.

How to select garage workshop equipment
What vehicle class is the workshop built around?
Decide this before anything else, because it rules out whole ranges. Passenger car equipment will not accept a truck wheel or a commercial vehicle axle load, and commercial equipment is larger, heavier and more expensive than a car-only workshop needs. A mixed workshop usually needs two sets rather than one compromise machine.
Which lift suits which bay?
A four post lift takes the vehicle on its wheels, which suits servicing, inspection and wheel alignment because the suspension stays loaded. A scissor lift is lower profile and recovers floor space when down. An alignment scissor lift combines the two, with the turning plates and slip plates alignment work requires built into the platform. Portable lifts suit a workshop that cannot commit floor area permanently.
Does alignment need its own bay?
In practice, yes. A 3D alignment machine measures against targets and needs the vehicle level and undisturbed for the duration, so sharing the bay with general service work costs more in interruption than the bay costs in floor area. If alignment is a significant part of your revenue, give it a dedicated lift.
What is usually underestimated?
Services and headroom. Lifts need a floor slab able to carry the anchored load, compressed air has to reach every bay that uses it, and a four post lift plus a raised vehicle needs more headroom than most buildings assume. Send the bay dimensions including clear height, the slab detail and the available electrical supply at enquiry.
Specifications and standards to compare
| Equipment | Key specifications to compare | Relevant standards |
|---|---|---|
| Lifting equipment | Rated capacity, lift height, platform length, anchoring requirement, power supply | Specify required standard and inspection regime at enquiry |
| Tyre changers and balancers | Rim diameter and width range, maximum wheel weight, motor rating | Specify required standard at enquiry |
| Wheel alignment | Measurement method, vehicle database coverage and update route, calibration interval | Specify required standard at enquiry |
| Pollution testing | Measured gases or opacity range, accuracy, calibration requirement, approval route | Must meet the approval required by the testing authority at the destination |
| Air conditioning service | Refrigerant type handled, recovery and recharge accuracy, tank capacity | Specify refrigerant and required standard at enquiry |
| Washing equipment | Pressure and flow, water consumption, supply voltage | Specify required standard at enquiry |
Pollution testing equipment is the one range here where approval is not optional: it must be accepted by the authority issuing the certificate at your destination, and that approval route should be confirmed before order rather than after delivery.
Equipping a workshop bay by bay
A workshop is normally scoped as bays, each with its own equipment and services:
- Service bay – four post or scissor lift, battery charger and booster, hand tools and storage.
- Tyre bay – tyre changer and wheel balancer sized to the rim range handled, with rim straightening where wheel repair is offered.
- Alignment bay – alignment scissor lift with 3D alignment, kept separate from general service work.
- Wash bay – car washer and foam washer with drainage and water supply designed in rather than added.
- Diagnostics and air conditioning – scanner, AC recovery and leak detection, usually sharing a bay.
- Body shop – repair system and dent pulling, which needs separation from clean service work for dust reasons.
- Testing – smoke meter or gas analyser where certification is offered, sited for vehicle access and exhaust extraction.

Installation, services and commissioning
Most equipment in this division needs something from the building before it will work: a floor slab able to take an anchored lift, compressed air, drainage at the wash bay, and the right electrical supply at each position. These are the buyer's to provide and are normally arranged with a local contractor, but they should be settled at enquiry rather than at delivery, because a lift that arrives before the slab is ready sits in a crate. Machines are built to the voltage, frequency and phase of the destination. Commissioning and operator training, where they apply, are agreed in the supply contract.
Tender and project enquiries
For a new workshop, send the building dimensions including clear height, the number of bays and what work each will take, and the equipment can be scoped against that rather than quoted from a list. For a tender, send the schedule and it is quoted line by line. Where pollution testing is included, name the authority whose approval the equipment must hold, since that is a pass or fail requirement rather than a preference and it differs between markets.
What is included and what is not
Supplied: the equipment built to the destination electrical supply, packed for export with documentation. Not supplied: the building, floor slab, drainage, compressed air installation, electrical installation or local approvals. Calibration, where equipment requires it, is the owner's ongoing responsibility and the interval should be confirmed at order. No approval or certification is claimed for any item without a document behind it.

Questions buyers ask
What equipment does a new garage need first?
A lift rated for the heaviest vehicle you will take, tyre changing and wheel balancing, battery charging and starting, and washing. Everything beyond that follows the business you intend to take in. Decide the vehicle class before anything else, because passenger car equipment will not accept a truck wheel or a commercial axle load.
Which lift should I choose?
A four post lift holds the vehicle on its wheels with the suspension loaded, which is what servicing, inspection and alignment need. A scissor lift is lower profile and gives the floor back when down. An alignment scissor lift adds the turning and slip plates alignment requires. A portable lift is the answer where floor space cannot be given over permanently to one bay.
Does wheel alignment need a dedicated bay?
In practice yes. A 3D alignment machine measures against targets and needs the vehicle level and undisturbed throughout, so sharing the bay with general service work costs more in interruption than the bay costs in floor area. If alignment is a real part of your revenue, give it its own lift.
What do people underestimate when planning a workshop?
Services and headroom. A lift needs a floor slab that can carry the anchored load, compressed air has to reach every bay that uses it, and a four post lift with a vehicle raised needs more clear height than most buildings are assumed to have. Send bay dimensions including clear height, the slab detail and the electrical supply at enquiry.
Does pollution testing equipment need approval?
Yes, and it is the one range here where approval is not optional. The equipment has to be accepted by the authority that issues the test certificate at your destination, and those requirements differ by market. Confirm the approval route before order rather than after delivery, because unapproved equipment cannot be used for certification at any price.
Can car equipment handle commercial vehicles?
No. Truck and bus wheels exceed the rim diameter, width and weight that passenger car changers and balancers accept, and commercial axle loads exceed car lift ratings. A workshop taking both usually needs two sets rather than one compromise machine. Say which classes you handle and the equipment can be specified for them.
Is installation included?
No. The floor slab, drainage, compressed air installation, electrical installation and local approvals are the buyer's, normally arranged with a local contractor. They should be settled at enquiry rather than at delivery, because a lift that arrives before the slab is ready sits in its crate. Commissioning and operator training are agreed in the supply contract.
How often does equipment need calibration?
Alignment machines, gas analysers and smoke meters all require periodic calibration, and the interval is set by the equipment and by the authority accepting the results. Calibration is the owner's ongoing responsibility. Confirm the interval at order so it is planned for rather than discovered at the first certification audit.
