About this unit
G-clamp. A threaded screw in a rigid G-shaped frame, applying pressure at one point - the standard way to hold work while glue sets or while it is cut, drilled or assembled. Throat depth decides how far in from the edge of a board you can clamp, and it is the dimension people get wrong when ordering. Specify the jaw opening and the throat depth together, with the quantity.
