About this unit
Chain pipe wrench. A chain is wrapped round the pipe and tensioned, so the grip holds on any diameter within range and on surfaces a jaw wrench would slip off - rusted, oiled, out of round. It also works where there is no room to swing a conventional wrench, because the chain only needs to pass round the pipe. Chain length sets the maximum diameter and handle length sets the torque available. Tell us the pipe sizes you work on.
