About this unit
An industrial meat mixer with a 200 litre bowl taking a maximum load of 160 kg, running on 3 kW from a 3 x 400V 50 Hz supply and weighing 540 kg. The machine uses a dual paddle system turning both clockwise and anticlockwise, with mixing speed varied through an inverter. Reversing direction matters in meat mixing because a single-direction paddle will pack product against one side of the bowl; alternating the rotation folds the batch rather than compressing it, which is what keeps fat and lean evenly distributed and stops the mix warming through over-working. Construction is 100% stainless steel. Loading and unloading are manual, which suits a plant running defined batches rather than a continuous line.
